Our Policies
The Maya Sherpa Project is a not-for-profit foundation that is dedicated to contributing resources for the well-being of the Sherpa communities in the Solukhumbu region of the Himalayas. Our focus is education, health care, and sustaining the environment and local culture.
All proceeds from donations go to school scholarships, school computers and educational material, or materials and local labor for various projects that support the communities. No monies are distributed to any of the officers who help or travel with the organization or for any other uses.

The Maya Sherpa Project will not sell your name or information to other people, websites or organizations.
The Maya Sherpa project is a 501c3 public charity and, as such, all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
